These terms apply when a customer visits cosmic3d.co.uk or buys a product from Cosmic 3D. They should be read with the Shipping Policy, Refund Returns and Cancellation Policy, and Privacy and Cookie Policy.

Using the website

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape the site in a way that disrupts it, or use its content to infringe our rights or the rights of others.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website when reasonably necessary. We do not promise that the website will always be available or free from technical errors.

Products and 3D printing

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Screen settings, lighting and filament batches can affect how colours appear. Dimensions stated as approximate may vary slightly within normal 3D-printing tolerances.

3D-printed products are built in layers. Fine layer lines, a small seam, minor support marks and slight surface variation are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and are not faults unless they materially affect the product's function, safety or description.

Product images may include props for scale or illustration. Only the items identified in the product description are included. Please read the full description, care instructions, measurements and compatibility information before ordering.

Medical storage and assistance products

Unless a product page expressly says otherwise, Cosmic 3D products are storage, organisation or handling accessories and are not medical devices. They do not provide medical advice, control medication temperature, guarantee sterility or replace the instructions supplied with medication or equipment.

You are responsible for checking product dimensions and compatibility with your own pen, vial, needle, medication packaging or other equipment before ordering. Keep medicines and accessories away from children and follow the manufacturer's storage and safety instructions. Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional where needed.

Pet products and household use

Use pet and household products for their described purpose and follow the care instructions. Supervise pets where appropriate and stop using an item if it becomes cracked, damaged or presents a chewing or swallowing risk. Stainless-steel bowls may have different care instructions from their printed stands.

Personalisation and customer supplied details

You are responsible for checking names, spelling, measurements, colour selections and other personalisation details before submitting an order. We will make the product using the information received. If information is unclear or appears incomplete, we may contact you and pause production until you reply.

You must have the right to use any name, text, image or design you ask us to reproduce. We may refuse content that is unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, misleading or likely to infringe another person's rights.

Orders and contract formation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. An automated acknowledgement confirms that we received the order but does not by itself mean that we have accepted it. We accept the order when we send confirmation that it has entered production or has been dispatched, whichever occurs first.

We may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance if a product is unavailable, a price or description contains an obvious error, payment is not authorised, delivery is unavailable, or we cannot lawfully complete the order. If we cancel after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Cosmic 3D is not VAT registered, so VAT is not separately charged. Delivery charges and the total payable are shown before checkout. Payment is processed using the methods offered at checkout.

We may change prices at any time, but a change will not affect an order already accepted except where the displayed price was an obvious error that a reasonable customer would have recognised.

Delivery returns and cancellation

Production, dispatch and delivery arrangements are set out in our Shipping Policy. Cancellation, returns, refunds and remedies for faulty goods are set out in our Refund Returns and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Intellectual property

The Cosmic 3D name, logo, website text, photographs, graphics and original product designs are owned by us or used with permission. You may view and print website content for personal use. You must not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute or commercially exploit it without written permission, except where the law allows.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses suffered by a consumer, or for loss caused by misuse, failure to follow instructions, or incompatible equipment that was not reasonably apparent from information supplied to us.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights relating to goods.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. We will contact you where practical, take reasonable steps to reduce the effect, and tell you about any material change to your order. Your cancellation rights remain available where the law provides them.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you also retain any mandatory protections that apply where you live. You may bring proceedings in the courts that have jurisdiction under consumer law.
